"No. 111, Kuliang. The 3rd typhoon is on the way, & the weather is very, very damp, everything getting smelly and mouldy.  But it is delightfully cool, & we get out our bathing costumes & macs when the wind is not too bad, so we're really having quite a good time. This picture shows a very large junk, we don't see many as big as this. Notice the eye (so that it may see its way), also the masts & yard arms all of bamboo. I hope all are well. You'll be getting a long letter one day! Much love Florence"
